I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “my people”.

Mat 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda,
art not the least among the princes of Juda:
for out of thee shall come a Governor,
that shall rule my people Israel.

Act 7:34 I have seen,
I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt,
and I have heard their groaning,
and am come down to deliver them.
And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Osee,
I will call them my people,
which were not my people;
and her beloved,
which was not beloved.

Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass,
that in the place where it was said unto them,
Ye are not my people;
there shall they be called the children of the living God.

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God;
as God hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying,
