For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ,

but their own belly;
and by good words and fair speeches
deceive the hearts of the simple. – Romans 16:18

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “word” from the Romans in the Holy Bible (KJV).

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Romans 9:9 For this is the word of promise,
At this time will I come,
and Sarah shall have a son.

Romans 10:8 But what saith it?
The word is nigh thee,
even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith,
which we preach;

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard?
Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth,
and their words unto the ends of the world.

Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things
which Christ hath not wrought by me,
to make the Gentiles obedient,
by word and deed,

Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ,
but their own belly;
and by good words and fair speeches
deceive the hearts of the simple.
