I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “winter”.
Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth,
seedtime and harvest,
and cold and heat,
and summer and winter,
and day and night shall not cease.
Psa 74:17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth:
thou hast made summer and winter.
Son 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;
12. The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
13. The fig tree putteth forth her green figs,
and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.
Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Isa 18:6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains,
and to the beasts of the earth:
and the fowls shall summer upon them,
and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.

and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.
Amo 3:15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house;
and the houses of ivory shall perish,
and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.
Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day,
that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem;
half of them toward the former sea,
and half of them toward the hinder sea:
in summer and in winter shall it be.
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the sabbath day:
21. For then shall be great tribulation,
such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be.
Mar 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
Joh 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication,
and it was winter.
Act 27:12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in,
the more part advised to depart thence also,
if by any means they might attain to Phenice,
and there to winter;
which is an haven of Crete,
and lieth toward the south west and north west.
Act 28:11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria,
which had wintered in the isle,
whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
1Co 16:6 And it may be that I will abide, yea,
and winter with you,
that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
2Ti 4:21 Do thy diligence to come before winter.
Eubulus greeteth thee,
and Pudens, and Linus,
and Claudia, and all the brethren.
Tit 3:12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus,
be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis:
for I have determined there to winter.
