I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “vine” from the book of ‘Job’ till ‘Malachi’ in the Old Testament.

Job 15:33 He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine,
and shall cast off his flower as the olive.

Job 24:18 He is swift as the waters;
their portion is cursed in the earth:
he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

Psalms 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat;
and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Psalms 78:47 He destroyed their vines with hail,
and their sycomore trees with frost.

Psalms 80:8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt:
thou hast cast out the heathen,
and planted it.

Psalms 80:14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts:
look down from heaven,
and behold, and visit this vine;

Psalms 80:15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted,
