I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “venom”.

Deu 32:31. For their rock is not as our Rock,
even our enemies themselves being judges.
32. For their vine is of the vine of Sodom,
and of the fields of Gomorrah:
their grapes are grapes of gall,
their clusters are bitter:

Deu 32:33 Their wine is the poison of dragons,
and the cruel venom of asps.

Act 28:4 And when the barbarians saw
the venomous beast hang on his hand,
they said among themselves,
No doubt this man is a murderer,
whom, though he hath escaped the sea,
yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

5. And he shook off the beast into the fire,
and felt no harm.
