And he became very hungry,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “trance”.

Num 24:3 And he took up his parable, and said,
Balaam the son of Beor hath said,
and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

Num 24:4 He hath said, which heard the words of God,
which saw the vision of the Almighty,
falling into a trance,
but having his eyes open:
5 How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob,
and thy tabernacles, O Israel!

Num 24:16 He hath said, which heard the words of God,
and knew the knowledge of the most High,
which saw the vision of the Almighty,
falling into a trance,
but having his eyes open:
17 I shall see him, but not now:
I shall behold him, but not nigh:
there shall come a Star out of Jacob,
and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel,
and shall smite the corners of Moab,
and destroy all the children of Sheth.

Act 10:10 And he became very hungry,
and would have eaten:
but while they made ready,
he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened,
and a certain vessel descending unto him,
as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners,
and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth,
and wild beasts,
and creeping things,
and fowls of the air.

Act 11:5 I was in the city of Joppa praying:
and in a trance I saw a vision,
A certain vessel descend,
as it had been a great sheet,
let down from heaven by four corners;
and it came even to me:
6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes,
I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth,
and wild beasts,
and creeping things,
and fowls of the air.

Act 22:17 And it came to pass, that,
when I was come again to Jerusalem,
even while I prayed in the temple,
I was in a trance;
18 And saw him saying unto me,
Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem:
for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
