‘thy name’….. mentioned in the New Testament (KJV)

ThyNameNTAnd that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy;
as it is written, For this cause I will confess
to thee among the Gentiles,
and sing unto thy name. – Rom 15:9

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “thy name” from the New Testament.

Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me,
ye that work iniquity.

Mar 5:9 And he asked him, What is thy name?
And he answered, saying, My name is Legion:
for we are many.

Mar 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master,
we saw one casting out devils in thy name,
and he followeth not us:
and we forbad him,
because he followeth not us.

Luk 8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying,
What is thy name?
And he said, Legion:
because many devils were entered into him.

which thou gavest me out of the world:

Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world,

those that thou gavest me I have kept,

but the son of perdition;
that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Joh 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name,
and will declare it:
that the love wherewith thou hast loved me
may be in them, and I in them.

Act 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests
to bind all that call on thy name.

and that thou shouldest give reward
unto thy servants the prophets,
and to the saints,
and them that fear thy name, small and great;
and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name?
for thou only art holy:
for all nations shall come and worship before thee;
for thy judgments are made manifest.
