I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “this poor”.

Psa 34:6 This poor man cried,
and the LORD heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.

Mar 12:43 And he called unto him his disciples,
and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you,
That this poor widow hath cast more in,
than all they which have cast into the treasury:

Mar 12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance;
but she of her want did cast in
all that she had,
even all her living.

Luk 21:3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you,
that this poor widow hath cast in
more than they all:

Luk 21:4 For all these have of their abundance
cast in unto the offerings of God:
but she of her penury hath
