I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “take” from the Gospels.
Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold,
the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream,
saying, Joseph, thou son of David,
fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:
for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 2:13 And when they were departed, behold,
the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream,
saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother,
and flee into Egypt,
and be thou there until I bring thee word:
for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Matthew 2:20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother,
and go into the land of Israel:
for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.
Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city,
and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up
into an exceeding high mountain,
and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world,
and the glory of them;
Matthew 4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria:
and they brought unto him all sick people
that were taken with divers diseases and torments,
and those which were possessed with devils,
and those which were lunatick,
and those that had the palsy;
and he healed them.
Matthew 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law,
and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

to be seen of them: otherwise
ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;
nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.
Is not the life more than meat,
and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment?
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow;
they toil not, neither do they spin:

What shall we eat? or,

Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Arise, take up thy bed,
and go unto thine house.
