I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Strengthen..ed..ing..eth”.

Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:
and when thou art converted,
strengthen thy brethren.

Luke 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven,
strengthening him.

The Acts 9:19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened.
Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

The Acts 18:23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed,
