The people which sat in darkness
saw great light;
and to them
which sat in the region
and shadow of death light is sprung up. – Mat 4:16

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “sprung ”.

Gen 41:6 And, behold,
seven thin ears and blasted
with the east wind sprung up after them.

Gen 41:23 And, behold, seven ears,
withered, thin,
and blasted with the east wind,
sprung up after them:

Lev 13:42 And if there be in the bald head,
or bald forehead,
a white reddish sore;
it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head,
or his bald forehead.

Mat 4:16 The people which sat in darkness

Mat 13:5 Some fell upon stony places,
where they had not much earth:
