I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “slumber”

Job 33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falleth upon men,
in slumberings upon the bed;

Psalms 121:3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall
neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalms 132:4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes,
or slumber to mine eyelids,

Proverbs 6:4 Give not sleep to thine eyes,
nor slumber to thine eyelids.

Proverbs 6:10 Yet a little sleep,
a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to sleep:

   11. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth,
and thy want as an armed man.

Proverbs 24:33 Yet a little sleep,
a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to sleep:

   34. So shall thy poverty come  as one that travelleth;
and thy want as an armed man.

Isaiah 5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them;
none shall slumber nor sleep;
neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed,
nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

they are all dumb dogs,
they cannot bark;
sleeping,
lying down,
loving to slumber.

thy nobles shall dwell in the dust:
thy people is scattered upon the mountains,
and no man gathereth them.

Matthew 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried,
they all slumbered and slept.

Romans 11:8 (According as it is written,
God hath given them the spirit of slumber,
eyes that they should not see,
and ears that they should not hear;)
unto this day.

2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words
make merchandise of you:
whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not,
and their damnation slumbereth not.
