I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “spare…”.

Gen 18:24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city:
wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place
for the fifty righteous that are therein?

Gen 18:26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom
fifty righteous within the city,
then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Deu 29:20 The LORD will not spare him,
but then the anger of the LORD
and his jealousy shall smoke against that man,
and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him,
and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

1Sa 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek,
and utterly destroy all that they have,
