I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “My Soul ”  mentioned in the New Testament.

Mat 11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Mat 12:18  Behold my servant, whom I have chosen;
my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased:
I will put my spirit upon him,
and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

Mat 26:38  Then saith he unto them,
My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
even unto death:
tarry ye here,
and watch with me.

Psa-48:14 For this God  is our God
for ever and ever:
he will be our guide
even unto death.

Jon-4:9 And God said to Jonah,
Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd?
And he said, I do well to be angry,
even unto death.

Mar 14:34  And saith unto them,
My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death:
tarry ye here,
and watch.

Luk 1:46  And Mary said,
My soul doth magnify the Lord,

1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Luk 12:19  And I will say to my soul, Soul,
thou hast much goods laid up for many years;
take thine ease, eat, drink,
and be merry.

Luk 12:20 But God said unto him,
Thou fool,
this night thy soul shall be required of thee:
then whose shall those things be,
which thou hast provided?

Joh 12:27  Now is my soul troubled;
and what shall I say?
Father, save me from this hour:
but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Act 2:27  Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell,
neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

2Co 1:23  Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul,
that to spare you
I came not as yet unto Corinth.

2Co 1:24 Not for that
we have dominion over your faith,
but are helpers of your joy:
for by faith ye stand.

Heb 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith:
but if  any man draw back,
my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hab-2:4 Behold, his soul
which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.
