I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “smell”.
Genesis 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour;
and the LORD said in his heart,
I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake;
for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;
neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
Genesis 27:27 And he came near,
and kissed him:
and he smelled the smell of his raiment,
and blessed him,
and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field
which the LORD hath blessed:
Exodus 30:38 Whosoever shall make like unto that,
to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
Leviticus 26:31 And I will make your cities waste,
and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation,
and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
Deuteronomy 4:28 And there ye shall serve gods,
the work of men’s hands, wood and stone,
which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
Job 39:25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha;
and he smelleth the battle afar off,
the thunder of the captains,
and the shouting.
Psalms 45:8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes,
and cassia, out of the ivory palaces,
whereby they have made thee glad.
Psalms 115:6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they,
but they smell not:
Song of Solomon 1:12 While the king sitteth at his table,
my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
Song of Solomon 2:13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs,
and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.
Arise, my love, my fair one,
and come away.
Song of Solomon 4:10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse!
how much better is thy love than wine!
and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!
Song of Solomon 4:11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb:
honey and milk are under thy tongue;
and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.
Song of Solomon 5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved;
and my hands dropped with myrrh,
and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh,
upon the handles of the lock.
Song of Solomon 5:13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices,
as sweet flowers:
his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.
Song of Solomon 7:8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree,
I will take hold of the boughs thereof:
now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine,
and the smell of thy nose like apples;
Song of Solomon 7:13 The mandrakes give a smell,
and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits,
new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
Isaiah 3:24 And it shall come to pass,
that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink;
and instead of a girdle a rent;
and instead of well set hair baldness;
and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth;
and burning instead of beauty.
Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors,
being gathered together, saw these men,
upon whose bodies the fire had no power,
nor was an hair of their head singed,
neither were their coats changed,
nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
Hosea 14:6 His branches shall spread,
and his beauty shall be as the olive tree,
and his smell as Lebanon.

and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things
which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell,
a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
