‘single’ ….. Not found! in the Old Testament (KJV)

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single,
thy whole body shall be full of light. – Mat 6:22

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “single”.

Mat 6:22 The light of the body is the eye:
if therefore thine eye be single,
thy whole body shall be full of light.

Luk 11:34 The light of the body is the eye:
therefore when thine eye is single,
thy whole body also is full of light;
but when thine eye is evil,
thy body also is full of darkness.

Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house,
did eat their meat with gladness
and singleness of heart,

Eph 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them
that are your masters according to the flesh,
with fear and trembling,
in singleness of your heart,
as unto Christ;

6:6 Not with eyeservice,
as menpleasers;
but as the servants of Christ,
doing the will of God from the heart;
6:7 With good will doing service,
as to the Lord, and not to men:

Col 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters
according to the flesh;
not with eyeservice,
as menpleasers;
but in singleness of heart,
fearing God:

3:23 And whatsoever ye do,
do it heartily,
as to the Lord, and not unto men;
3:24 Knowing that of the Lord
ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:
for ye serve the Lord Christ.
