I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “’Seek ye…”.
Numbers 16:10 And he hath brought thee near to him,
and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee:
and seek ye the priesthood also?
Psalms 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face;
my heart said unto thee,
Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:
no one of these shall fail,
none shall want her mate:
for my mouth it hath commanded,
and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 45:19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:
I said not unto the seed of Jacob,
Seek ye me in vain:
I the LORD speak righteousness,
I declare things that are right.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near:
7. Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the LORD,
and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Amos 5:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel,
Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
5. But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal,
and pass not to Beersheba:
for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity,
and Bethel shall come to nought.
Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness,
seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 24:5 And as they were afraid,
and bowed down their faces to the earth,
they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
