I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rock”from Pentatuech till Nehemiah.

Exodus 17:6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb;
and thou shalt smite the rock,
and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink.
And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Exodus 33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me,
and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

Exodus 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by,
that I will put thee in a clift of the rock,
and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

Numbers 20:8 Take the rod,
and gather thou the assembly together, thou,
and Aaron thy brother,
and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes;
and it shall give forth his water,
and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock:
so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
