I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Rest” from the ‘Job’, ‘Psalmist’ and from the ‘Wise’ (KJV).
Job 3:13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet,
I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
Job 3:17 There the wicked cease from troubling;
and there the weary be at rest.
Job 3:18 There the prisoners rest together;
they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
Job 3:26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest,
neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Job 11:18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope;
yea, thou shalt dig about thee,
and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
Job 14:6 Turn from him, that he may rest,
till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.
Job 17:16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit,
when our rest together is in the dust.
Job 24:23 Though it be given him to be in safety,
whereon he resteth;
yet his eyes are upon their ways.
Job 30:17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season:
and my sinews take no rest.
Job 30:27 My bowels boiled,
and rested not:
the days of affliction prevented me.
Psalms 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad,
and my glory rejoiceth:
my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Psalms 17:14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world,
which have their portion in this life,
and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure:
they are full of children,
and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD,
and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Psalms 38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger;
neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
Psalms 55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove!
for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
Psalms 94:13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,
until the pit be digged for the wicked.
Psalms 95:11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath
that they should not enter into my rest.
Psalms 116:7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul;
for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Psalms 125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous;
lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

thou, and the ark of thy strength.

here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

neither will he rest content,
though thou givest many gifts.

but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.

spoil not his resting place:

whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

and he shall give thee rest;
yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
Ecclesiastes 2:23 For all his days are sorrows,
and his travail grief;
yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night.
This is also vanity.
Ecclesiastes 6:5 Moreover he hath not seen the sun,
nor known any thing:
this hath more rest than the other.
Ecclesiastes 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry:
for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

where thou feedest,
where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon:
for why should I be as one that turneth aside
by the flocks of thy companions?
