I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “reproaches ”.

Psalms  69:9  For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up;
and the reproaches of them
that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

Isaiah  43:28  Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary,
and have given Jacob to the curse,
and Israel to reproaches.

Luke  11:45  Then answered one of the lawyers,
and said unto him, Master,
thus saying thou reproachest us also.

Romans  15:3  For even Christ pleased not himself;
but, as it is written,
The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

2 Corinthians  12:10  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,
in reproaches,
in necessities,
in persecutions,
in distresses for Christ’s sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Hebrews  10:33  Partly, whilst ye were made
a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions;
and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
