I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Service” from the New Testament.
Service
Joh 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues:
yea, the time cometh,
that whosoever killeth you will think
that he doeth God service.
Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites;
to whom pertaineth the adoption,
and the glory,
and the covenants,
and the giving of the law,
and the service of God,
and the promises;
9:5 Whose are the fathers,
and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came,
who is over all,
God blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.
Rom 15:31 That I may be delivered from them
that do not believe in Judaea;
and that my service
which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
15:32 That I may come unto you with joy
by the will of God,
and may with you be refreshed.
2Co 9:12 For the administration of this service
not only supplieth the want of the saints,
but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
9:13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration
they glorify God for your professed subjection
unto the gospel of Christ,
and for your liberal distribution unto them,
and unto all men;
9:14 And by their prayer for you,
which long after you
for the exceeding grace of God in you.
2Co 11:8 I robbed other churches,
taking wages of them,
to do you service.
Gal 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God,
ye did service unto them
which by nature are no gods.
Eph 6:7 With good will doing service,
as to the Lord,
and not to men:
6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth,
the same shall he receive of the Lord,
whether he be bond or free.
Phi 2:17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice
and service of your faith,
I joy, and rejoice with you all.
Phi 2:30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death,
not regarding his life,
to supply your lack of service toward me.
1Ti 6:2 And they that have believing masters,
let them not despise them,
because they are brethren;
but rather do them service,
because they are faithful and beloved,
partakers of the benefit.
These things teach and exhort.
Heb 9:1 Then verily the first covenant
had also ordinances of divine service,
and a worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained,
the priests went always into the first tabernacle,
accomplishing the service of God.
9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year,
not without blood,
which he offered for himself,
and for the errors of the people:
9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying,
that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest,
while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present,
in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices,
that could not make him that did the service perfect,
as pertaining to the conscience;
9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks,
and divers washings,
and carnal ordinances,
imposed on them until the time of reformation.
Rev 2:19 I know thy works,
and charity,
and service,
and faith,
and thy patience,
and thy works;
and the last to be more than the first.
