I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ please him”.

Joh 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
the Father hath not left me alone;
for I do always those things
that please him.
2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself
with the affairs of this life;
that he may please him
who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Heb 11:6 But without faith
