I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “pierce…d…”.

Numbers 24:8 God brought him forth out of Egypt;
he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn:
he shall eat up the nations his enemies,
and shall break their bones,
and pierce them through with his arrows.

Judges 5:26 She put her hand to the nail,
and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer;
and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head,
when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.

2 Kings 18:21 Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed,
even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean,
it will go into his hand, and pierce it:
so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.

Job 30:17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season:
