I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “petitions”.

Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation,
and in the name of our God we will set up our banners:
the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

1 John 5:15 And if we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
