I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “own ways”.

Job 13:15 Though he slay me,
yet will I trust in him:
but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Pro 14:14 The backslider in heart
shall be filled with his own ways:
and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Isa 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,
from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight,
the holy of the LORD, honourable;
and shalt honour him,
not doing thine own ways,
nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:

Isa 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
he that sacrificeth a lamb,
as if he cut off a dog’s neck;
he that offereth an oblation,
as if he offered swine’s blood;
he that burneth incense,
as if he blessed an idol.
Yea, they have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Eze 36:32 Not for your sakes
do I this, saith the Lord GOD,
be it known unto you:
be ashamed and confounded
for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Act 14:16 Who in times past suffered all nations
to walk in their own ways.
