I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “oppression”.
Exo 3:9 Now therefore, behold,
the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me:
and I have also seen the oppression
wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Deu 26:5 And thou shalt speak
and say before the LORD thy God,
A Syrian ready to perish was my father,
and he went down into Egypt,
and sojourned there with a few,
and became there a nation,
great, mighty, and populous:
6. And the Egyptians evil entreated us,
and afflicted us,
and laid upon us hard bondage:
Deu 26:7 And when we cried
unto the LORD God of our fathers,
the LORD heard our voice,
and looked on our affliction,
and our labour,
and our oppression:
8. And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt
with a mighty hand,
and with an outstretched arm,
and with great terribleness,
and with signs,
and with wonders:
9. And he hath brought us into this place,
and hath given us this land,
even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
2Ki 13:4 And Jehoahaz besought the LORD,
and the LORD hearkened unto him:
for he saw the oppression of Israel,
because the king of Syria oppressed them.
Job 35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions
they make the oppressed to cry:
they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
Job 36:15 He delivereth the poor in his affliction,
and openeth their ears in oppression.
Psa 12:5 For the oppression of the poor,
for the sighing of the needy,
now will I arise, saith the LORD;
I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
Psa 42:9 I will say unto God my rock,
Why hast thou forgotten me?
why go I mourning
because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psa 43:2 For thou art the God of my strength:
why dost thou cast me off?
why go I mourning
because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psa 44:24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face,
and forgettest our affliction
and our oppression?
Psa 55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy,
because of the oppression of the wicked:
for they cast iniquity upon me,
and in wrath they hate me.
Psa 62:10 Trust not in oppression,
and become not vain in robbery:
if riches increase,
set not your heart upon them.
Psa 73:8 They are corrupt,
and speak wickedly concerning oppression:
they speak loftily.
Psa 107:39 Again, they are minished
and brought low through oppression,
affliction, and sorrow.
Psa 119:134 Deliver me from the oppression of man:
so will I keep thy precepts.
Ecc 4:1 So I returned,
and considered all the oppressions
that are done under the sun:
and behold the tears of such as were oppressed,
and they had no comforter;
and on the side of their oppressors there was power;
but they had no comforter.
Ecc 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor,
and violent perverting of judgment
and justice in a province,
marvel not at the matter:
for he that is higher than the highest regardeth;
and there be higher than they.
Ecc 7:7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad;
and a gift destroyeth the heart.
Isa 5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel,
and the men of Judah his pleasant plant:

but behold oppression;
for righteousness,
but behold a cry.
Isa 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel,
Because ye despise this word,
and trust in oppression and perverseness,
and stay thereon:
Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously,
and speaketh uprightly;
he that despiseth the gain of oppressions,
that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,
that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood,
and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16. He shall dwell on high:
his place of defence shall be
the munitions of rocks:
bread shall be given him;
his waters shall be sure.
Isa 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established:
thou shalt be far from oppression;
for thou shalt not fear:

are not but for thy covetousness,

and for oppression,
and for violence, to do it.

in the midst of thee have they dealt
by oppression with the stranger:
in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
Eze 22:29 The people of the land have used oppression,
and exercised robbery,
and have vexed the poor and needy: yea,
they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
Eze 46:18 Moreover the prince shall not take
of the people’s inheritance by oppression,
to thrust them out of their possession;
but he shall give his sons inheritance
out of his own possession:
that my people be not scattered
every man from his possession.
