OppressionI will say unto God my rock,
Why hast thou forgotten me?
why go I mourning because of
the oppression of the enemy? – Psa 42:9

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “oppression”.

Exo 3:9 Now therefore, behold,
the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me:
and I have also seen the oppression
wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

Deu 26:5 And thou shalt speak
and say before the LORD thy God,
A Syrian ready to perish was my father,
and he went down into Egypt,
and sojourned there with a few,
and became there a nation,
great, mighty, and populous:
6. And the Egyptians evil entreated us,
and afflicted us,
and laid upon us hard bondage:

Deu 26:7 And when we cried
unto the LORD God of our fathers,
the LORD heard our voice,
and looked on our affliction,
and our labour,
and our oppression:

8. And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt
with a mighty hand,
and with an outstretched arm,

Jer 6:6 For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees,
and cast a mount against Jerusalem:
this is the city to be visited;
she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

Jer 22:17 But thine eyes and thine heart
are not but for thy covetousness,
and for to shed innocent blood,

and for violence, to do it.

Eze 22:7 In thee have they set light by father and mother:
in the midst of thee have they dealt
by oppression with the stranger:

Eze 46:18 Moreover the prince shall not take
of the people’s inheritance by oppression,
to thrust them out of their possession;
but he shall give his sons inheritance
out of his own possession:
that my people be not scattered
every man from his possession.
