I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “offend”.

Gen 20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham,
and said unto him,
What hast thou done unto us?
and what have I offended thee,
that thou hast brought on me
and on my kingdom a great sin?
thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

Gen 40:1 And it came to pass after these things,
that the butler of the king of Egypt
and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

1Ki 1:21 Otherwise it shall come to pass,
when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers,
that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders.

2Ki 18:14 And Hezekiah king of Judah
