Then said he unto the disciples,
It is impossible but that offences will come:
but woe unto him,
through whom they come!
– Luke 17:1

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “offences”.
Ecclesiastes 10:4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee,
leave not thy place;
for yielding pacifieth great offences.
Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences!
for it must needs be that offences come;
but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples,
It is impossible but that offences will come:
but woe unto him,
through whom they come!
Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences,
and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift:
for the judgment was by one to condemnation,
but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them
which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine
which ye have learned;
and avoid them.
