Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “not yourselves”.

Lev 18:30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance,
that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs,
which were committed before you,
and that ye defile not yourselves therein:
I am the LORD your God.

2Ch 20:15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah,
and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and thou king Jehoshaphat,
Thus saith the LORD unto you,
Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Jer 5:19 And it shall come to pass,
when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD
our God all these things unto us?
then shalt thou answer them,
Like as ye have forsaken me,
and served strange gods in your land,
so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

Jer 37:9 Thus saith the LORD;
Deceive not yourselves, saying,
The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us:
for they shall not depart.

Eze 20:7 Then said I unto them,
Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes,
and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt:
I am the LORD your God.

Trouble not yourselves;
