I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “not returned / returned not”.

Gen 8:12  And he stayed yet other seven days;
and sent forth the dove;
which returned not again unto him any more.

2Sa 1:22  From the blood of the slain,
from the fat of the mighty,
the bow of Jonathan turned not back,
and the sword of Saul returned not empty.

1Ki 13:10  So he went another way,
and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

1Ki 13:33  After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way,
but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places:

yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Amo 4:11  I have overthrown some of you,
as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning:
yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
