I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “not ourselves”.

2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves,
but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

2Co 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you,
but give you occasion to glory on our behalf,
that ye may have somewhat to answer them
which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

2Co 10:14 For we stretch not ourselves
beyond our measure,
as though we reached not unto you:
for we are come as far as to you also
in preaching the gospel of Christ:

2Th 3:7 For yourselves know
