I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “understanding ”.

Job 20:3 I have heard the check of my reproach,
and the spirit of my understanding
causeth me to answer.

Pro 5:1 My son, attend unto my wisdom,
and bow thine ear to my understanding:

1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue,
my spirit prayeth,
but my understanding is unfruitful.
