I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Lot”.

Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him,
and parted his garments, casting lots:
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet,
They parted my garments among them,
and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

Mark 15:24 And when they had crucified him,
they parted his garments,
casting lots upon them,
what every man should take.

Luke 1:9 According to the custom of the priest’s office,
his lot was to burn incense
when he went into the temple of the Lord.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them;
for they know not what they do.
And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

John 19:24 They said therefore among themselves,
Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be:
that the scripture might be fulfilled,
which saith, They parted my raiment among them,
and for my vesture they did cast lots.
These things therefore the soldiers did.

Acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots;
and the lot fell upon Matthias;
and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Acts 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter:
for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Acts 13:19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan,
he divided their land to them by lot.
