I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “law is”.

Hab 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked,
and judgment doth never go forth:
for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;
therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

Act 19:38 Wherefore if Demetrius,
and the craftsmen which are with him,
have a matter against any man,
the law is open,
and there are deputies:
let them implead one another.

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God
without the law is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual:
but I am carnal,
sold under sin.

Gal 3:12 And the law is not of faith:
but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
