I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “is evil”.

Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour;
and the LORD said in his heart,
I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake;
for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;
neither will I again smite any more
every thing living,
as I have done.

Jer 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers;
for because of swearing the land mourneth;
the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up,
and their course is evil,
and their force is not right.

Mic 2:3 Therefore thus saith the LORD;
Behold, against this family do I devise an evil,
from which ye shall not remove your necks;
neither shall ye go haughtily:
for this time is evil.

Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart
his mouth speaketh.

Luk 11:34 The light of the body is the eye:
therefore when thine eye is single,
thy whole body also is full of light;
