I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “in the Lord” from the New Testament.
Act 9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa;
and many believed in the Lord.
Act 14:3 Long time therefore abode they
speaking boldly in the Lord,
which gave testimony unto the word of his grace,
and granted signs
and wonders to be done by their hands.
Rom 16:2 That ye receive her in the Lord,
as becometh saints,
and that ye assist her in
whatsoever business she hath need of you:
for she hath been a succourer of many,
and of myself also.
Rom 16:8 Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord.
Rom 16:11 Salute Herodion my kinsman.
Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus,
which are in the Lord.
Rom 16:12 Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa,
who labour in the Lord.
Salute the beloved Persis,
which laboured much in the Lord.
Rom 16:13 Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord,
and his mother and mine.
Rom 16:22 I Tertius, who wrote this epistle,
salute you in the Lord.
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written,
He that glorieth,
let him glory in the Lord.
1Co 4:17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus,
who is my beloved son,
and faithful in the Lord,
who shall bring you into remembrance
of my ways which be in Christ,
as I teach every where in every church.
1Co 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant,
is the Lord’s freeman:
likewise also he that is called,
being free, is Christ’s servant.
1Co 7:39 The wife is bound by the law
as long as her husband liveth;
but if her husband be dead,
she is at liberty to be married to whom she will;
only in the Lord.
1Co 9:1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free?
have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord?
are not ye my work in the Lord?
1Co 9:2 If I be not an apostle unto others,
yet doubtless I am to you:
for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
1Co 11:8 For the man is not of the woman;
but the woman of the man.
9. Neither was the man created for the woman;
but the woman for the man.
10. For this cause ought the woman
to have power on her head
because of the angels.
1Co 11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman,
neither the woman without the man,
in the Lord.
12. For as the woman is of the man,
even so is the man also by the woman;
but all things of God.
1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be ye stedfast, unmoveable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1Co 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you.
Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord,
with the church that is in their house.
2Co 10:17 But he that glorieth,
let him glory in the Lord.
Eph 1:15 Wherefore I also,
after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus,
and love unto all the saints,
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together
groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 4:17 This I say therefore,
and testify in the Lord,
that ye henceforth walk
not as other Gentiles walk,
in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness,
but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord:
for this is right.
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren,
be strong in the Lord,
and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:21 But that ye also may know my affairs,
and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother
and faithful minister in the Lord,
shall make known to you all things:
Phi 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord,
waxing confident by my bonds,
are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Phi 2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus
to send Timotheus shortly unto you,
that I also may be of good comfort,
when I know your state.
Phi 2:24 But I trust in the Lord
that I also myself shall come shortly.
Phi 2:29 Receive him therefore
in the Lord with all gladness;
and hold such in reputation:
Phi 3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord.
To write the same things to you,
to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
Phi 4:1 Therefore, my brethren
dearly beloved and longed for,
my joy and crown,
so stand fast in the Lord,
my dearly beloved.
Phi 4:2 I beseech Euodias,
and beseech Syntyche,
that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Phi 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway:
and again I say, Rejoice.
Phi 4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly,
that now at the last your care of me
hath flourished again;
wherein ye were also careful,
but ye lacked opportunity.
Col 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves
unto your own husbands,
as it is fit in the Lord.
Col 4:7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you,
who is a beloved brother,
and a faithful minister
and fellowservant in the Lord:
Col 4:17 And say to Archippus,
Take heed to the ministry
which thou hast received in the Lord,
that thou fulfil it.
1Th 1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus,
unto the church of the Thessalonians
which is in God the Father
and in the Lord Jesus Christ:
Grace be unto you, and peace,
from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 3:8 For now we live,
if ye stand fast in the Lord.
1Th 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren,
to know them which labour among you,
and are over you in the Lord,
and admonish you;
2Th 3:4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you,
that ye both do and will do the things
which we command you.
Phm 1:16 Not now as a servant,
but above a servant,
a brother beloved, specially to me,
but how much more unto thee,
both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
Phm 1:20 Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord:
refresh my bowels in the Lord.
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write,
Blessed are the dead which die
in the Lord from henceforth: Yea,
saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them.
