‘holy’….. from the ‘Prophets’ (KJV)

HolyProphHer priests have violated my law,
and have profaned mine holy things:
they have put no difference between the holy and profane,
neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean,
and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths,
and I am profaned among them.Ezekiel 22:26

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,
from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;

nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:

Isaiah 60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me,
and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far,
their silver and their gold with them,
unto the name of the LORD thy God,
and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

Isaiah 60:14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee;
and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet;
and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD,
The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people,

and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock:
and dust shall be the serpent’s meat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD
out of all nations upon horses,
and in chariots,
and in litters,
and upon mules, and upon swift beasts,
to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD,
as the children of Israel bring an offering
in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

Jeremiah 11:15 What hath my beloved to do in mine house,
seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many,
and the holy flesh is passed from thee?
when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

Jeremiah 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words,
and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high,
and utter his voice from his holy habitation;

against all the inhabitants of the earth.

Jeremiah 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies,
and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron,
unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east,
shall be holy unto the LORD;
it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

Jeremiah 50:29 Call together the archers against Babylon:
all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about;
let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work;
according to all that she hath done, do unto her:
for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts;
though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

and they shall possess their houses:
I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease;
and their holy places shall be defiled.

Ezekiel 20:39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD;
Go ye, serve ye every one his idols,
and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me:
but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts,
and with your idols.

Ezekiel 20:40 For in mine holy mountain,
in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD,
there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me:
there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings,
and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

Ezekiel 21:2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem,
and drop thy word toward the holy places,
and prophesy against the land of Israel,

Ezekiel 22:8 Thou hast despised mine holy things,
and hast profaned my sabbaths.

Ezekiel 22:26 Her priests have violated my law,
and have profaned mine holy things:
they have put no difference between the holy and profane,
neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean,
and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths,
and I am profaned among them.

Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth;
and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God;
thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Ezekiel 36:20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went,
they profaned my holy name, when they said to them,
These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

Ezekiel 36:21 But I had pity for mine holy name,
which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen,
whither they went.

Ezekiel 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel,
but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen,
whither ye went.

Ezekiel 36:38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts;
so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men:
and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel;
and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more:
and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

Ezekiel 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob,
and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel,
and will be jealous for my holy name;

Ezekiel 41:4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits;
and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple:
and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.

Ezekiel 42:13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers,
which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers,
where the priests that approach unto
the LORD shall eat the most holy things:
there shall they lay the most holy things,
and the meat offering, and the sin offering,
and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

Ezekiel 42:14 When the priests enter therein,
then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court,
but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister;
for they are holy; and shall put on other garments,
and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

Ezekiel 43:7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne,
and the place of the soles of my feet,
where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever,
and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile,
neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom,
nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

Ezekiel 43:8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds,
and their post by my posts,
and the wall between me and them,
they have even defiled my holy name
by their abominations that they have committed:
wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

Ezekiel 43:12 This is the law of the house;
Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof
round about shall be most holy.
Behold, this is the law of the house.

Ezekiel 44:8 And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things:
but ye have set keepers of my charge
in my sanctuary for yourselves.

Ezekiel 44:13 And they shall not come near unto me,
to do the office of a priest unto me,
nor to come near to any of my holy things,
in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame,
and their abominations which they have committed.

Ezekiel 44:19 And when they go forth into the utter court,
even into the utter court to the people,
they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered,
and lay them in the holy chambers,
and they shall put on other garments;
and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.

Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people
the difference between the holy and profane,
and cause them to discern
between the unclean and the clean.

Ezekiel 45:1 Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance,
ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD,
an holy portion of the land:
the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds,
and the breadth shall be ten thousand.
This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about.

Ezekiel 45:3 And of this measure shalt thou measure
the length of five and twenty thousand,
and the breadth of ten thousand:
and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.

Ezekiel 45:4 The holy portion of the land shall be
for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary,
which shall come near to minister unto the LORD:
and it shall be a place for their houses,
and an holy place for the sanctuary.

Ezekiel 45:6 And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad,
and five and twenty thousand long,
over against the oblation of the holy portion:
it shall be for the whole house of Israel.

Ezekiel 45:7 And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side
and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion,
and of the possession of the city,
before the oblation of the holy portion,
and before the possession of the city,
from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward:
and the length shall be over against one of the portions,
from the west border unto the east border.

Ezekiel 46:19 After he brought me through the entry,
which was at the side of the gate,
into the holy chambers of the priests,
which looked toward the north:
and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward.

Ezekiel 48:10 And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation;
toward the north five and twenty thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the east ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length:
and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

Ezekiel 48:12 And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them
a thing most holy by the border of the Levites.

Ezekiel 48:14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange,
nor alienate the firstfruits of the land:
for it is holy unto the LORD.

Ezekiel 48:18 And the residue in length over against
the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward,
and ten thousand westward:
and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion;
and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.

Ezekiel 48:20 All the oblation shall be
five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand:
ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare,
with the possession of the city.

Ezekiel 48:21 And the residue shall be for the prince,
on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation,
and of the possession of the city,
over against the five and twenty thousand of
the oblation toward the east border,
and westward over against the five and twenty thousand
toward the west border,
over against the portions for the prince:
and it shall be the holy oblation;
and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

Daniel 4:8 But at the last Daniel came in before me,
whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my God,
and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods:
and before him I told the dream, saying,

Daniel 4:9 O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians,
because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee,
and no secret troubleth thee,
tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen,
and the interpretation thereof.

Daniel 4:13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold,
a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers,
and the demand by the word of the holy ones:
to the intent that the living may know
that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,
and giveth it to whomsoever he will,
and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Daniel 4:18 This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen.
Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof,
forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom
are not able to make known unto me the interpretation:
but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.

Daniel 4:23 And whereas the king saw a watcher
and an holy one coming down from heaven,
and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it;
yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth,
even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field;
and let it be wet with the dew of heaven,
and let his portion be with the beasts of the field,
till seven times pass over him;

Daniel 5:11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods;
and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom,
like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him;
whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king,
I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers,
Chaldeans, and soothsayers;

Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:
and he shall destroy wonderfully,
and shall prosper,
and practise,
and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Daniel 9:16 O LORD, according to all thy righteousness,
I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away
from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain:
because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers,
Jerusalem and thy people are become
a reproach to all that are about us.

Daniel 9:20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying,
and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel,
and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God
for the holy mountain of my God;

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined
upon thy people and upon thy holy city,
to finish the transgression,
and to make an end of sins,
and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
and to seal up the vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most Holy.

Daniel 11:28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches;
and his heart shall be against the holy covenant;
and he shall do exploits,
and return to his own land.

Daniel 11:30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him:
therefore he shall be grieved, and return,
and have indignation against the holy covenant:
so shall he do; he shall even return,
and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace
between the seas in the glorious holy mountain;
yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen,
which was upon the waters of the river,
when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven,
and sware by him that liveth for ever
that it shall be for a time, times, and an half;
and when he shall have accomplished
to scatter the power of the holy people,
all these things shall be finished.

Hosea 11:9 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger,
I will not return to destroy Ephraim:
for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee:
and I will not enter into the city.

Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion,
and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:
for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Joel 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God
dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain:
then shall Jerusalem be holy,
and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

Amos 2:7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor,
and turn aside the way of the meek:
and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid,
to profane my holy name:

Obadiah 1:16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain,
so shall all the heathen drink continually,
yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down,
and they shall be as though they had not been.

yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

and let the Lord GOD be witness against you,
the LORD from his holy temple.

O LORD my God, mine Holy One?
we shall not die. O LORD,
thou hast ordained them for judgment;
and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

Habakkuk 2:20 But the LORD is in his holy temple:
let all the earth keep silence before him.

Habakkuk 3:3 God came from Teman,
and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah.
His glory covered the heavens,
and the earth was full of his praise.

Zephaniah 3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings,
wherein thou hast transgressed against me:
for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them
that rejoice in thy pride,
and thou shalt no more be haughty
because of my holy mountain
.

Haggai 2:12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment,
and with his skirt do touch bread,
or pottage,
or wine,
or oil,
or any meat, shall it be holy?
And the priests answered and said, No.

Zechariah 2:12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah
his portion in the holy land,

and shall choose Jerusalem again.

for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Zechariah 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion,
and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem:
and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth;
and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “gave” from ‘Acts’ till ‘Revelation’ in the New Testament (KJV).

Acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots;
and the lot fell upon Matthias;
and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

and began to speak with other tongues,
as the Spirit gave them utterance.

expecting to receive something of them.

Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles
witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:
and great grace was upon them all.

Acts 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down,
and gave up the ghost:
and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Acts 7:5 And he gave him none inheritance in it,
no, not so much as to set his foot on:
yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession,
and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

Acts 7:8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision:
and so Abraham begat Isaac,
and circumcised him the eighth day;
and Isaac begat Jacob;
and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

Acts 7:10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions,
and gave him favour and wisdom
in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt;
and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

as it is written in the book of the prophets,
O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts
and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Acts 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed
unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

This man is the great power of God.

and when he had called the saints and widows,
presented her alive.

Acts 10:2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house,

who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ;
what was I, that I could withstand God?

Acts 12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying,
It is the voice of a god,
and not of a man.

Acts 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him,
because he gave not God the glory:
and he was eaten of worms,
and gave up the ghost.

about the space of four hundred and fifty years,
until Samuel the prophet.

Acts 13:21 And afterward they desired a king:
and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis,
a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

to whom also he gave testimony,
and said, I have found David the son of Jesse,
a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Acts 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord,
which gave testimony unto the word of his grace,
and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Acts 14:17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness,
in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven,
and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Acts 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence,
and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul,
declaring what miracles and wonders
God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

that certain which went out from us
have troubled you with words,

for it is not fit that he should live.

to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
