I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “I will be their God”.

Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee,
and to thy seed after thee,
the land wherein thou art a stranger,
all the land of Canaan,
for an everlasting possession;
and I will be their God.

Jer 24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me,
that I am the LORD:
and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God:
for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Jer 32:38 And they shall be my people,
and I will be their God:

Eze 11:20 That they may walk in my statutes,
and keep mine ordinances,
and do them:
and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God.

Eze 14:11 That the house of Israel
may go no more astray from me,
neither be polluted any more
with all their transgressions;
but that they may be my people,
and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 37:23 Neither shall they defile themselves
any more with their idols,
nor with their detestable things,
nor with any of their transgressions:
but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces,
wherein they have sinned,
and will cleanse them:
so shall they be my people,
and I will be their God.

Eze 37:27 My tabernacle also shall be with them:
yea, I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.

Zec 8:8 And I will bring them,
and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem:
and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God,
in truth and in righteousness.

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God;
as God hath said, I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
