I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “I follow“.

Psa 38:20 They also that render evil for good
are mine adversaries;
because I follow the thing that good is.

Amo 7:15 And the LORD took me
as I followed the flock,
and the LORD said unto me,
Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

Joh 13:37 Peter said unto him, Lord,
why cannot I follow thee now?
I will lay down my life for thy sake.

Phi 3:12 Not as though I had already attained,
either were already perfect:
but I follow after,
if that I may apprehend that for
