“I am here” meaning to say “I am Available” to what? . .

“And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, ‘I am here’, Lord.” Acts 9:10 KJV.
**Only once in the Bible this phrase appears. But towards Samuel….
“And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.”
**In the context ‘I am here ‘ to Serve..in obedience. This little child “And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.”
A precious child and first child of mother Hannah, after too many years given to God after weaning (an infant or other young mammal – to food other than its mother’s milk). This little child was leading a country Israel. .
**Have we ever heard the calling of our name by God in our ears?
After Samuel prophets came and revealing the word of God saying “This saith the Lord” or the “Lord saith”, for Ananias it was “Lord in a vision”.
So we do our good work like Cornelius (Acts 10:31) to the Glory of God in our life and our God of righteousness lead us to HIS Glory.
