And he would fain have filled his belly

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “husks”.

Numbers 6:4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing
that is made of the vine tree,
from the kernels even to the husk.

2 Kings 4:42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha,
and brought the man of God
bread of the firstfruits,
twenty loaves of barley,
and full ears of corn in the husk thereof.
And he said, Give unto the people,
that they may eat.

Luke 15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly
with the husks that the swine did eat:
and no man gave unto him.

17. And when he came to himself, he said,
How many hired servants of my father’s
have bread enough and to spare,
and I perish with hunger!
