I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “rock”.
Job 14:18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought,
and the rock is removed out of his place.
Job 18:4 He teareth himself in his anger:
shall the earth be forsaken for thee?
and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
Job 19:24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
Job 24:8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains,
and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
Job 28:9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock;
he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
Job 28:10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks;
and his eye seeth every precious thing.
