Angels – in The Holy Bible (King James Version)

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, God gave me the following verses in the context of “Angel(s)”, from The Holy Bible.

Forgive me this, this context is too long from Genesis till Revelations, but Please, read it with patience and it is good.

Gen-19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even;
and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom:
and Lot seeing  them rose up to meet them;
and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

Gen-19:15 And when the morning arose,
then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife,
and thy two daughters, which are here;
lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

Gen-28:12 And he dreamed,
and behold a ladder set up on the earth,
and the top of it reached to heaven:
and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Gen-32:1 And Jacob went on his way,
and the angels of God met him.

Job-4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants;
and his angels he charged with folly:

Psa-8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,
and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Psa-68:17 The chariots of God  are twenty thousand,
even thousands of angels: the Lord  is among them,  as in Sinai, in the holy  place.

Psa-78:25 Man did eat angels’ food:
he sent them meat to the full.

Psa-78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath,
and indignation,
and trouble,
by sending evil angels  among them.

Psa-91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psa-103:20 Bless the LORD,
ye his angels, that excel in strength,
that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Psa-104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits;
his ministers a flaming fire:
5.  Who laid the foundations of the earth,
that it should not be removed for ever.

Psa-148:2 Praise ye him,
all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Mat-4:6 And saith unto him,
If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down:
for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:
and in  their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Mat-4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold,
angels came and ministered unto him.

Mat-13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil;
the harvest is the end of the world;
and the reapers are the angels.

Mat-13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels,
and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend,
and them which do iniquity;
42. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mat-13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world:
the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

Mat-16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Mat-18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones;
for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always
behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat-22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry,
nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mat-24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.

Mat-24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no  man, no,
not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mat-25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32. And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth  his sheep from the goats:
33. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand,
but the goats on the left.

Mat-25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:
42. For I was an hungred,
and ye gave me no meat:
I was thirsty,
and ye gave me no drink:
43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:
naked, and ye clothed me not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Mat-26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father,
and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Mar-1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days,
tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts;
and the angels ministered unto him.

Mar-8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me
and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Mar-12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead,
they neither marry, nor are given in marriage;
but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Mar-13:27 And then shall he send his angels,
and shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Mar-13:32 But of that day and  that hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels which are in heaven,
neither the Son, but the Father.

Luk-2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven,
the shepherds said one to another,
Let us now go even unto Bethlehem,
and see this thing which is come to pass,
which the Lord hath made known unto us.

Luk-4:10 For it is written,
He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11. And in  their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Luk-9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words,
of him shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when he shall come in his own glory,
and  in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

Luk-12:8 Also I say unto you,
Whosoever shall confess me before men,
him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Luk-15:10 Likewise, I say unto you,
there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Luk-16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died,
and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom:
the rich man also died, and was buried;
23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,
and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk-20:36 Neither can they die any more:
for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Luk-24:23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying,
that they had also seen a vision of angels,
which said that he was alive.

Joh-1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily,
I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open,
and the angels of God ascending
and descending upon the Son of man.

Joh-20:12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head,
and the other at the feet,
where the body of Jesus had lain.

Act-7:53 Who have received the law
by the disposition of angels,
and have not kept  it.

Rom-8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Co-4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last,
as it were appointed to death:
for we are made a spectacle unto the world,
and to angels, and to men.

1Co-6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels?
how much more things that pertain to this life?

1Co-11:5. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth
with  her head uncovered dishonoureth her head:
for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn:
but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven,
let her be covered.
7. For a man indeed ought not to cover  his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:
but the woman is the glory of the man.
8. For the man is not of the woman;
but the woman of the man.
9. Neither was the man created for the woman;
but the woman for the man.

1Co-11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on  her head
because of the angels.

1Co-13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not charity,
I am become  as sounding brass,
or a tinkling cymbal.

Gal-3:19 Wherefore then  serveth the law?
It was added because of transgressions,
till the seed should come to whom the promise was made;
and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Col-2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility
and worshipping of angels,
intruding into those things which he hath not seen,
vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19. And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints
and bands having nourishment ministered,
and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

2Th-1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us,
when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9. Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,
and from the glory of his power;
10. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints,
and to be admired in all them that believe
(because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

1Ti-3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1Ti-5:21 I charge  thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the elect angels, that thou observe these things
without preferring one before another,
doing nothing by partiality.

Heb-1:4 Being made so much better than the angels,
as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Heb-1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time,
Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?
And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Heb-1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world,
he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Heb-1:7 And of the angels he saith,
Who maketh his angels spirits,
and his ministers a flame of fire.

Heb-1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time,
Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Heb-2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast,
and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;
which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord,
and was confirmed unto us by them that heard  him;
4. God also bearing  them witness,
both with signs and wonders,
and with divers miracles,
and gifts of the Holy Ghost,
according to his own will?

Heb-2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

Heb-2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels;
thou crownedst him with glory and honour,
and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
8. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet.
For in that he put all in subjection under him,
he left nothing  that is not put under him.
But now we see not yet all things put under him.
9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death,
crowned with glory and honour;
that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Heb-2:16 For verily he took not on  him the nature of angels;
but he took on  him the seed of Abraham.

Heb-12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion,
and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to an innumerable company of angels,
23. To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven,
and to God the Judge of all,
and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,
and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than  that of Abel.

Heb-13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

1Pe-1:12 Unto whom it was revealed,
that not unto themselves,
but unto us they did minister the things,
which are now reported unto you by them
that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven;
which things the angels desire to look into.

1Pe-3:22 Who is gone into heaven,
and is on the right hand of God;
angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

2Pe-2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned,
but cast  them down to hell,
and delivered  them into chains of darkness,
to be reserved unto judgment;
5. And spared not the old world,
but saved Noah the eighth  person,
a preacher of righteousness,
bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6. And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned  them with an overthrow,
making  them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7. And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing,
vexed  his righteous soul from day to day with  their unlawful deeds;)
9. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,
and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10. But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness,
and despise government.
Presumptuous  are they, selfwilled,
they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

2Pe-2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might,
bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

Jud-1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate,
but left their own habitation,
he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness
unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev-1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand,
and the seven golden candlesticks.
The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:
and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Rev-3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;
and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,
but I will confess his name before my Father,
and before his angels.

Rev-5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels
round about the throne
and the beasts and the elders:
and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand,
and thousands of thousands;

Rev-7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,
holding the four winds of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth,
nor on the sea,
nor on any tree.

Rev-7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east,
having the seal of the living God:
and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels,
to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Rev-7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne,
and  about the elders and the four beasts,
and fell before the throne on their faces,
and worshipped God,

Rev-8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God;
and to them were given seven trumpets.

Rev-8:6 And the seven angels
which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Rev-8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth
by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels,
which are yet to sound!

Rev-9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Rev-9:15 And the four angels were loosed,
which were prepared for an hour,
and a day,
and a month,
and a year,
for to slay the third part of men.

Rev-12:7 And there was war in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon;
and the dragon fought and his angels,
8. And prevailed not;
neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev-12:9 And the great dragon was cast out,
that old serpent,
called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev-14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels,
and in the presence of the Lamb:
11. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Rev-15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven,
great and marvellous,
seven angels having the seven last plagues;
for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Rev-15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple,
having the seven plagues,
clothed in pure and white linen,
and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Rev-15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials
full of the wrath of God,
who liveth for ever and ever.

Rev-15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God,
and from his power;
and no man was able to enter into the temple,
till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Rev-16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels,
Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Rev-17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials,
and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither;
I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2. With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,
and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Rev-21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels
which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues,
and talked with me, saying, Come hither,
I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Rev-21:12 And had a wall great and high,
and had twelve gates,
and at the gates twelve angels,
and names written thereon,
which are  the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13. On the east three gates;
on the north three gates;
on the south three gates;
and on the west three gates.
