I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “his cross”.
Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross,
and followeth after me,
is not worthy of me.
Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross,
and follow me.
Mat 27:32 And as they came out,
they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name:
him they compelled to bear his cross.
Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him
with his disciples also,
he said unto them,
Whosoever will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross,
and follow me.
Mar 15:21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian,
who passed by,
coming out of the country,
the father of Alexander and Rufus,
to bear his cross.
Luk 9:23 And he said to them all,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily,
and follow me.
Luk 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross,
and come after me,
cannot be my disciple.
Joh 19:17 And he bearing his cross
went forth into a place called the place of a skull,
which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
Joh 19:18 Where they crucified him,
and two other with him,
on either side one,
and Jesus in the midst.
Col 1:20 And, having made peace
through the blood of his cross,
by him to reconcile all things unto himself;
by him, I say, whether they be things in earth,
or things in heaven.
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins
and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him,
having forgiven you all trespasses;
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances
that was against us,
which was contrary to us,
and took it out of the way,
nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers,
he made a shew of them openly,
triumphing over them in it.
