Bread of What? God, Life, Heaven, Tears, Idleness, Wickedness, Deceit, . . . . .

“Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house,
which have eyes to see, and see not;
they have ears to hear, and hear not:
for they  are a rebellious house. ”

– Eze-12:2

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible”, I was given the following verses in the context of “ Bread of  . . . . ” from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-King James Version).

  • Bread of God

Joh-6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Lev-21:6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire,  and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

Lev-21:8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you,  am holy.

Lev-21:17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever  he be of thy seed in their generations that hath  any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

Lev-21:21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

Lev-21:22 He shall eat the bread of his God,  both of the most holy, and of the holy.

Lev-22:25 Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption  is in them,  and blemishes  be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

  •   Bread of Life

Joh-6:48 I am that bread of life.

Joh-6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

  • Bread of Heaven

Psa-105:40  The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

  • Bread of Tears

Psa-80:5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.

  • Bread of Idleness

Pro-31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

  • Bread of Wickedness

Pro-4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

  • Bread of Deceit

Pro-20:17 Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

  • Bread of Affliction

Deu-16:3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith,  even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

1Ki-22:27 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this  fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.

2Ch-18:26 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this  fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.

  • Bread of Sorrows

Psa-127:2  It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows:  for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

  • Bread of Mourners

Hos-9:4 They shall not offer wine  offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices  shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.

  • Bread of Evil Eye

Pro-23:6 Eat thou not the bread of  him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
7. For as he thinketh in his heart, so  is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart  is not with
thee.
8. The morsel  which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

  • Bread of the Firstfruits

Lev-23:20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits  for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

2Ki-4:42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

  • Bread of Sincerity

1Co-5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened  bread of sincerity and truth.

  • Bread of Two Days

Exo-16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

  • Bread of Governor

Neh-5:14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king,  that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.

Neh-5:18 Now  that which was prepared  for me daily  was one ox  and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.

  • Bread of Men

Eze-24:17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not  thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.

Eze-24:22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover  your lips, nor eat the bread of men.

Num-15:19 Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.

Jos-9:5 And old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their provision was dry  and mouldy.

Isa-30:20 And  though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21. And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This  is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isa-30:23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

Luk-11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if  he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Kingdom of Heaven / . . . Thy Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. .. .? Lords Prayer?

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” King James Version, God gave me the following verses in the context of ” Kingdom of Heaven” .

I was wondering, whenever I say the Lord’s Prayer, “. . . . Thy will be done….as it is in heaven . . . . “, What is that “as it is in heaven”? Are the following things from the Holy Bible (KJV) ?

Kingdom of Heaven

Mat-3:1. In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

Mat-3:2  And saying, Repent ye:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat-4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach,
and to say, Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat-5:3  Blessed  are the poor in spirit:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-5:10  Blessed  are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach  them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

That except your righteousness shall exceed  the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees,
ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

That many shall come from the east and west,
and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-10:7  And as ye go, preach, saying,
The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Among them that are born of women
there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist:
notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed,
which a man took, and sowed in his field:

The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven,
which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal,
till the whole was leavened.

Mat-13:44  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field;
the which when a man hath found, he hideth,
and for joy thereof goeth
and selleth all that he hath,
and buyeth that field.

Mat-13:45  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man,
seeking goodly pearls:

Mat-13:47  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net,
that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

Mat-13:52  Then said he unto them,
Therefore every scribe  which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man
that is an householder,
which bringeth forth out of his treasure  things new and old.

Mat-16:19  And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mat-18:1  At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying,
Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

Mat-18:3  And said, Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted,
and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-18:4  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child,
the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-18:23  Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king,
which would take account of his servants.

Mat-19:12  For there are some eunuchs,
which were so born from  their mother’s womb:
and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men:
and there be eunuchs,
which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven‘s sake.
He that is able to receive  it, let him receive  it.

Mat-19:14  But Jesus said, Suffer little children,
and forbid them not,
to come unto me:
for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-19:23  Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
Verily I say unto you,
That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat-20:1  For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man 
that is an householder,
which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Mat-22:2  The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king,
which made a marriage for his son,

Mat-23:13  But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:
for ye neither go in  yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Mat-25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins,
which took their lamps,
and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Mat-25:14  For  the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country,
who called his own servants,
and delivered unto them his goods.
