I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “glad”.

Exodus 4:14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses,
and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother?
I know that he can speak well.
And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee:
and when he seeth thee,
he will be glad in his heart.

Numbers 10:10 Also in the day of your gladness,
and in your solemn days,
and in the beginnings of your months,
ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings,
and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings;
