I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “friendship”.

Pro 22:24  Make no friendship with an angry man;
and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

25. Lest thou learn his ways,
and get a snare to thy soul.

Jam 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses,
know ye not that the friendship of the world
is enmity with God?
whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world
is the enemy of God.

5. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain,
The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
