I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “forgive us”.

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.

Luk 11:4 And forgive us our sins;
for we also forgive every one
that is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.

1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
