I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “footstool”.

1Ch 28:2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet,
and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people:
As for me, I had in mine heart to build
an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD,
and for the footstool of our God,
and had made ready for the building:

2Ch 9:18 And there were six steps to the throne,
with a footstool of gold,
which were fastened to the throne,
and stays on each side of the sitting place,
and two lions standing by the stays:

and worship at his footstool;

for it is his footstool:
neither by Jerusalem;
for it is the city of the great King.

Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Mar 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost,
The LORD said to my Lord,
Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Luk 20:43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Act 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne,
and earth is my footstool:
what house will ye build me? saith the Lord:
or what is the place of my rest?

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time,
Sit on my right hand,
until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting
till his enemies be made his footstool.

Jam 2:2 For if there come unto your assembly
a man with a gold ring,
in goodly apparel,
and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

Jam 2:3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing,
and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place;
and say to the poor,
Stand thou there,
or sit here under my footstool:
2:4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves,
and are become judges of evil thoughts?
