‘fine’ ….. what?…Linen?…Brass?….Gold?….from the New Testment (KJV)


There was a certain rich man,
which was clothed in purple and fine linen,
and fared sumptuously every day: – Luk 16:19

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “fine”.

Mar 15:46 And he bought fine linen,
and took him down,
and wrapped him in the linen,
and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock,
and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

and decked with gold,
and precious stones,
and pearls!

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that
she should be arrayed in fine linen,
clean and white:
for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen,
white and clean.
